Steam tug Eppleton Hall and Balclutha
Steam tug EPPLETON HALL berthed outboard of the sailing ship BALCLUTHA at San Francisco, CA. Sidewheel steam tug EPPLETON HALL, built in England to tow coal barges on the Tyne River in 1914. Though extensively rebuilt, she retains her original side lever steam engine. She was brought to San Francisco under her own power in the early 1970s.
