USNS Bald Eagle
Alstede-class US Naval stores ship BALD EAGLE. Built in 1943 at the Moore Drydock Company for the War Shipping Administration. She was acquired by the US Navy in 1950 and operated as a stores vessel carrying refrigerated items, stores and equipment to ships in the fleet, stations and staging areas.
